Neil Coyle - Bermondsey and Old Southwark

Neil is Labour's candidate in Bermondsey and Old Southwark for the 2015 general election.  Neil.jpg

 Neil, 35, is Deputy Mayor in the London Borough of Southwark and works for Kate Green MP on the Labour Party’s policies on disability and welfare.

Neil lives in the constituency in Newington with his wife Sarah who he married in 2014.

He became a councillor for Newington in 2010, securing a 10% swing from Simon Hughes’ Liberal Democrats and helped secure overall control of Southwark Council for Labour from the former Tory/Lib Dem coalition. He was re-elected in 2014 with a further swing to Labour.

He previously helped run a national anti-poverty charity and has won national credibility for his campaigns on rights for disabled people.
